Our Government Relations service is here to ensure that our members' voices are heard at the state capitol. We provide a lobbyist to represent our association and its members, and we are actively working to protect our current scope of chiropractic. We are present at the capitol to ensure that the laws and regulations that affect our members are in their best interest.
The Oklahoma Chiropractors Association is the leading organization for chiropractors in the state of Oklahoma, and has been instrumental in promoting the profession and advocating for the rights of chiropractors. Our Legislative Relations is led by OCA Lobbyist, Shawn Lepard, the OCA has been working diligently to ensure that chiropractors in Oklahoma have the resources and support they need. Shawn has over 30 years of experience in government as a lobbyist, legislative staffer, agency employee, campaign coordinator and family involvement in politics. In 2005, after gaining public affairs experience in a number of varied fields, Shawn formed Lepard Consulting, LLC to help advance the causes of Oklahoma’s chiropractors. The OCA is dedicated to providing Oklahoma’s chiropractors with the resources, support, and advocacy they need to practice their profession.
